I had a bad experience with another mechanic and felt they were not being honest about my options with getting a new transmission. Steven here at Westside called them on my behalf and called them on their BS. He then picked me up at my residence so I could pick up my car after they very quickly finished my transmission replacement. Above and beyond helpful, kind and fair. I don’t normally take the time to write these reviews but for this place it’s the least I could do for them.

Being from Watsonville, California, this was a challenging situation for my wife and me. Our old transmission died and was replaced by a shop in Los Banos California. Unfortunately that “new” transmission died in less than 500 miles. Fortunately Westside Transmission was just around the corner from where we really started having problems. Kind and knowledgeable technicians I was referred to them by another business and don't regret it at all. They resolved the issue I was having in no time at a fair price. On a rare older car that's hard to find certain parts for. They're extremely honest and offered to fix a minor problem I had for free unfortunately it was a little more complicating than that and I had to get a few parts. I'm very happy that my car got fixed and safe to drive again.
