My last two visits involved what might be referred to as project vehicles, with and without instructions. Jack and crew where able to sort through and figure out how to make all the parts work (lift kits, suspension modifications, exhaust mods, reinstall new fuel tanks, wiring issues, etc.)(Also rebuilt a very much thrashed transmission which is now better than new) On these projects all too often I either had provided them wrong parts or we had missing parts and all that I was received aside from fair pricing on very difficult / intricate custom jobs, was patience and understanding.

I came to Westside Transmission and Automotive for basic maintenance service, and I left more than pleased. They were not only very welcoming and helpful, but the amount of knowledge and professional service was on another level. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a trustworthy go-to car shop.

This is the best service we have ever had. And we have owned Porches before this one. Jack really knows what he is doing and keeps up with everything so that you get the most up to date information in order to do the repairs.

I originally took my van in for a new transmission in 2013. The staff took their time explaining my problem and the solutions available. At the time my finances were not great and they worked with me to make it possible for me to do all the work needed. Since then, I have taken the van in to have it looked at and both times they fixed it for no charge to me. They fixed my van, stood behind their work and totally took care of me. In the fall of 2014 we decided to fix rather than replace our two cars, a Toyota van and an Explorer. Since then we have had two transmission rebuilds, a radiator replacement, two alternator replacements, and a starter yesterday on short notice. I'm sure there was more. These guys are amazing: smart, efficient, honest, fast (prudently quick; not blast through the job.) Finding them was the result of an Internet search, some contact with a friend who reviewed them favourably, and just some general due diligence. Oh, and for simple things like an oil or filter change, they are easy to deal with. I'd give them 36 stars if I could.
