It was a hassle free experience. They promised a certain price, I had the car fixed, and they kept to that promise. They did the job as fast as they could and kept me updated with the status of the car.

I worked with Kirk. He was was very charming on the phone and very focused on solving my problem. He told me he worked at Mercedes for ten years, and it made me feel comfortable to have experienced people working on my Mercedes. They helped me get a rental while they worked on my car. The rental place is about a block from their facility, which was convenient. I liked Westside Transmission's slogan, "A customer once, a customer for life". I think it might apply to me. I'm considering making them my permanent mechanic. I liked them a lot.

They replaced a part of my transmission. Everything was fine, I got excellent service there.

Great experience! I have taken my cars to Jack for nearly 10 years and have referred several friends. There are many sketchy mechanics out there but Jack is honest and his rates are reasonable. He will take the time to tell you what needs immediate repair and what needs attention in the near future, which is great for people trying to budget their auto repairs. I moved a few years ago but still drive out of my way to take my car to Westside Transmission. I've never had a bad experience. You can trust Jack.

I took my car in a few months ago for a major tune-up. When I picked up my car from Westside Transmission, it seemed that I got back a new car! My car ran very smoothly and the repairs to my car, helped with fuel effencey and more power. This is one of the first, if not THE first review I've taken the time to write. These guys deserve it. I took my g35 coupe into Kirk after being told by Santa Monica Infiniti (Stealership) during my last 2 oil changes that I need a $300 transmission fluid flush. I thought without a doubt, my fluid would at least be dirty seeing as the dealer brought it up 2 visits in a row. So I was expecting at the very least to do a drain and fill on the fluid. Kirk took a look and well...guess what...THE FLUID IS FINE. He said "id love to charge you but there is nothing wrong with your fluid." Now obviously kirk could have just done the fluid drain and fill despite it being just fine. I would have never known. Instead he decided to save me the $250-$300. I left without paying a dime. If you are looking for hard-to-come-by honesty, Westside Transmission is the place to go. Thanks Kirk!

The last 4 or 5 times I've taken a vehicle into Westside Transmission, I've been satisfied with the great personal service and honesty, and my vehicle is returned to me in an acceptable amount of time. This last time, Kirk had to build a new compressor on my Mercedes. They are honest, nice people that do a good job.

Westside Transmission did one vehicle for me about four years ago, and I was happy then. They were conscientious and considerate. I found that it was the exact same thing this most recent time. They rebuilt my transmission and noticed a few other issues, like some substantial oil leaks. They were very conscious of preventative maintenance, and they were personable and knowledgeable. I'd like to go back again.

I had to get my valve body rebuilt. Initially they were going to rebuild my whole transmission, but they found another option that was more affordable and helped work within my budget. They told me it would be about 3 days to fix, but got it done in 1.5.

They're very professional. I've had great experiences, especially for something as stressful as transmission going out. They're knowledgeable, patient, and kind.
